Full Description

Two Ipswich ware pots. Reputed to have been found in churchyard circa 1900? Formerly kept in the church (S1). As no mention is made by Findley Baker in his notes, Mr Phillip Willis considers it unlikely these vessels were found `about 1895' as reputed, and more likely they came from the enlargement of the churchyard made on 21st May 1908 to the N of the church (S4). Reticulated stones in church C10-C11 (S2)(R2).
Church recorded in Domesday (S3).
