Full Description
A World War II strongpoint comprising a pillbox and associated trench system within a barbed wire circuit is visible in 1941 at TM 511794. Also visible are two possible minefields extending to the northwest and on the east side as well as slit trenches located at TM 50877947, TM 51007958 and TM 50997965. The strongpoint is located on high ground on the north side of Pottersbridge Marshes , west of Easton Broad (S1).
Formerly (2000) numbered in duplicate as SCV 008 - re-allocated number SCV 016 January 2007.
