September 1997: Fieldwalking survey (40m apart transects, 20m stint lengths) of part of Forestry Compartment 4042, located small cluster (over circa 40m x 40m area) of 2 flakes, 2 utilised flakes, 1 scraper and 1 (EBA?) potsherd.

Square enclosure, probably moat (S1).

Fieldwalking survey of Forest block, located flint arrowhead and various worked & burnt flints.

King's Grove. Possible ancient woodland with external bank and ditch and water filled semi-circular pond and earthwork mill (?) mound with possible cross-tree depression in middle circular moat on the east side.

February 1999: Forest Field Walking Survey located relatively dense scatter of (later Preh?) worked flints (S1).

Cropmarks show rectalinear ditchs (enclosure?), some quite large.

Fieldwalking located relatively dense scatter of later BA worked flints.

Two sherds Rom greyware found fieldwalking.
