18th century compartmentalised Deer Park which was later remodelled as a 19th century landscape park associated with Benacre Hall (See BNC 120 for Hall).

The only features uncovered during the works were post-medieval disturbance which was most likely related to the sites previous use in the mid 20th century as a Ministry of Defence Fuel Depot but a number of 12th century pottery sherds were recovered...

Monitoring of ground works recorded extensive evidence for 19th and earlier 20th century ground disturbance.

Evaluation identified a single post-medieval ditch.

Monitoring identified post-medieval acitivty in the form of a boundary ditch and several large pits truncated and overlain by more modern activity.
