Indeterminate cropmarks within area of site (S1). Extending through to SUE 009?
Also IA, Rom, Preh & Med.
The cropmark features on these APs are quarries (presumably of Post Medieval date), visible as earthworks and cropmarks on 1943 air photography (S2) and at least two of which are both marked on the 1st edition 25" map as 'old sand pit' (S3). The quarries are at TM 44345471, TM 44405465, TM 44335457, TM 44305438, TM 44125439 and TM 44075438, north of Ferry Farm.
