Full Description
LBA metal hoard found in rectory garden in 1926; R R Clarke's undated corrections to the 1:10560 map (S1).
Finds listed as two fragments winged axes, four ribbed, two faceted and six plain socketed axes (mostly damaged) plus ? fragments. Also fragments of two gouges, a socketed chisel, a pegged spearhead, 8 sword blades and 1 handle. Also linen fragment wedged in one of socketed axes by two lumps bronze (S2).
