2001: One of three areas (IPS 404-406) identified during evaluation in 2000 (see IPS 399) for open area excavation due to complex arrangement of field boundaries of Late Iron Age, Roman, Saxon & Post Medieval date. Some of these extend into IPS 406. Details in (S1).
