Full Description

2023: Geophysical (magnetometer) survey identified a possible alignment of positive and negative linear anomalies that may represent ditches and banks flanking a former trackway following the lower contour on the western edge of the site. A cluster of discrete positive anomalies on the higher ground
towards the centre of the site may represent cut and infilled pit feature of archaeological origin, while a large area of enhanced magnetic responses following the higher contour may derive from geomorphological processes, although former quarrying activity is also a possibility. (S1)
