Monitoring revealed one undated chalk surface and the foundation of a granary barn. A historic building survey of the existing granary was also carried out prior to its conversion and extension.

Monitoring identified earlier floor surfaces one constructed of flint and some brick and the second, constructed of compacted chalk.

2 storey brick building of mid-17th C. Ground floor incorporates part of earlier building and originally contained a stable. Converted into Granary & mill in 18th C.
